How the VMA Masonry Apprenticeship works:

In addition to learning the trade on-the-job, Apprenticeships require that Apprentices attend class 1 night per week for 2 hours each night; 18 weeks per stage; 5 stages in total to complete the program.  The classes will be part of the Apprentices’ Related Instruction and are required in order to complete the Apprenticeship and to become certified by VMA and by the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry.  Also required for completion of the program is the successful completion of exams and performance tasks related to what is learned in class.  Class attendance is mandatory for Apprentices.

A translator is not available at this time.   Apprentices must be able to read, understand and communicate in English for this program.

This serves as the pre-registration into the VMA classes only.   VMA and the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry require additional paperwork which will be provided shortly after receipt of this pre-registration form.
